NFSA Training and Online Courses

The owner of Response Fire Supply, Devin Doyle is an accomplished professional and business leader in the fire supply sector. Besides being dedicated to his work at Response Fire Supply, Newport Beach resident Devin Doyle is a member of several professional organizations, including the America Fire Sprinkler Association and National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA).

With over a century of history, NFSA was created to defend the use of fire sprinkler systems throughout the country and to offer resources for training and education. NFSA training provides a curriculum taught by leaders in the sprinkler industry with numerous sprinkler related subjects.

There are several types of training offered at the NFSA website, including the Layout Technician Training Seminars, Blended Learning, and the online training courses. NFSA online training participants have access to a virtual classroom and interactive learning modules with online assessments.

Overview of CAFSA's Training Programs

A resident of Newport Beach, California, Devin Doyle is the owner of Response Fire Supply, a company that operates branches within California and Las Vegas. Devin Doyle oversees all operations and sales initiatives of the company. He is a member of the America Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA).

The California chapter of the American Fire Sprinkler Association (CAFSA) offers a training program for fire sprinkler contractors, journeymen, and other professionals in the building industry. The CAFSA’s correspondence course titled, Training for Excellence, consists of an educational curriculum created by the American Fire Sprinkler Association in combination with the CAFSA’s DVD training modules. This course is a nationally recognized program for sprinkler fitter training.

Industry professionals can choose to combine the CAFSA’s correspondence learning program with an additional 9,000 hours of hands-on apprenticeship training provided under the supervision of certified instructors. The CAFSA also offers two years of classroom-based education intended to enhance the knowledge gained from the correspondence course. The performance-based in-class program challenges apprentices to develop essential skills required for advancement in the fire sprinkler industry.

About Devin Doyle

Devin Doyle began his entrepreneurial career with Reaction Supply, a Union City, California, business that he owned from 1987 to 2009. Over this 12-year period, Devin Doyle expanded his company, establishing seven new locations across Arizona, California, and Nevada. In addition to owning Reaction Supply, he additionally served as the company’s vice president. His duties during this time included negotiating with vendors and managing all West Coast sales.

Following his tenure with Reaction Supply, Devin Doyle leveraged the experience he had acquired with his Union City business to assume responsibilities as the owner and president of Response Fire Supply in Santa Ana, California. Continuing to serve in these leadership capacities today, he presides over a company that includes four California- and Nevada-based branches, as well as two California-based fabrication facilities.

Mr. Doyle’s duties with Response Fire Supply extend to managing the company’s sales. In undertaking this work, he focuses on supplying fire-sprinkler contractors with superior fire-protection products from a number of established brands.
